Child Dedication

Child Dedication is a time set aside where parents make a commitment to intentionally parent their child with an end in mind. It’s a time for your family & friends to come alongside you and commit to helping you achieve your end goal for your child. And it’s a time for the church to say, we’ll partner with you to help your child develop into a growing follower of Jesus. Prior to the big event, parents will have an oriention with the Missio Kids Director, and will recieve instructions about the celebration.

Baptism
Baptism is an important part of each person’s faith story. It is an outward sign—a step of obedience—taken by a disciple of Jesus Christ. The word “baptize” comes from the Greek, meaning “to immerse” (with water). Baptism itself does not “save” a person. We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, for salvation from sin and spiritual death (Eph. 2: 8-9).
Baptism is your public decision to follow Christ. We want to provide helpful resources and journey with you through this important faith decision.
We invite everyone who has decided to follow Jesus to stand in the water with us and declare that Jesus is Lord.

At Missio we designate specific Sundays for baptism and encourage you to invite your family and friends to witness this pivotal moment in your walk with Christ.

Family Covenant Partnership
Membership is often misunderstood, misapplied or not applied at all.

Why then do we have membership? Because regardless of how the culture sees it or Christians misunderstand it, membership is not simply an opportunity to say, I’m a part of a club, but rather a scriptural expression of covenant connectedness to a church.
